A man has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred on the Las Vegas Strip. According to a report by 8 News Now, the accused, identified as Manuel Ruiz, 41, allegedly shot and killed a fellow YouTuber known as Finny Da Legend and his wife. The incident took place on June 8.
According to the report, the two internet personalities had a long-running rivalry that reportedly began over allegations of copyright infringement. The duo clashed over several issues on social media, further escalating the feud.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department reported that the incident unfolded around 10.40 PM near the Bellagio Hotel and Casino. Although YouTube removed the original video of the killing, a clip capturing the crime was widely shared across social media. The viral video shows the YouTuber couple chilling on the Las Vegas Strip when suddenly the accused attacked them.

The police said the shooting took place while Finny Da Legend was live streaming, and the violent moment was captured on video before the footage was removed. Ruiz, who reportedly used the alias “SinCity-MannyWise” on YouTube and ran the channel Sin City Family, turned himself in on Monday. He is now facing two counts of murder.
“The suspect and the victim had previously engaged in some type of conflict using a variety of social media platforms,” police noted.
In the wake of the arrest, YouTube took action against Ruiz’s channel. “Because it violated our Community Guidelines,” the platform stated, “the channel has been removed.”
While law enforcement has yet to officially release the identities of the two victims, online posts and community tributes across platforms like X, Reddit, and YouTube have widely identified them as Finny Da Legend and his wife.
