In a scene that left neighbours and local authorities stunned, a family in the United States of America returned home to find their pet dog – Lady – missing, only to discover her perched 35 feet up in a tree. According to reports, the incident occurred on May 22.
The confusion began when Lady was nowhere to be found upon their return. After frantically searching the yard and neighbourhood, the family was stunned to see the dog clinging to a high branch atop a towering tree.
The viral video captures the moment Lady is spotted, tail wagging enthusiastically as her family looks up in disbelief. As the video continues, a man can be seen climbing the tree to reach the stranded pup, while two women stand below holding a blanket stretched out, ready to catch Lady in case she falls.
According to the post shared by Brut America, the family reached out to the fire department and animal rescuers. However, they failed to provide any assistance. “I don’t know how my dog got carried up,” the woman in the video says.
“A family in the U.S. was shocked to return home and discover one of their dogs missing – only to find her stuck 35 feet up in a tree. They successfully rescued the dog, named Lady, and brought her safely down,” the caption of the video read.

The video prompted an array of reactions ever since it was shared on social media. “It looks like that pup was snatched up by a large bird of prey and then dropped randomly (and thankfully on a tree),” a user wrote. “Gotta keep them humans on their toes always,” another user commented.
